Are you sick of walking everywhere in 7 Days to Die? Then crafting a Minibike might be right up your alley! It was the first vehicle added to the game and is still very useful to acquire, especially during the mid-game of progression.
The default Minibike speed is the same as a sprinting player and it moves even faster when pressing down on shift.

On top of that, it has 27 slots to store your items. This makes it an efficient way to bring back items found during routine scavenging hunts.
7 Days to Die: How to Build a Minibike
The Minibike requires 5 different types of components to craft on a workbench.
2x Wheels
Each wheel requires the following components:
24x Scrap Polymers
- Any tool can be used to collect them from tires on the ground, but using the wrench gives more of them.
1x Bottle of Acid
- Bottles of Acid can be looted from Sinks, Working Stiffs Crates, Working Stiff Tools Work Trucks, Cardboard Boxes, Trash Compactors, Green Drawers, Trash, Garage Storage, Tilt Trucks, Utility Carts, Janitor Cart, non-drivable vehicles, Wooden Desks, Iron Desks, Night Stands, Lockers, Car Wrecks, Chemistry Sets, & Construction Crates.
- If you’ve read the “Wasteland Treasures: Acid Perk” book then acid can be obtained by disassembling vehicles that can’t be driven (around 8%-15% chance), Acid Barrels, Chemistry Sets (5%), Medical Supplies (5%). Uncovered Army Trucks provide an 8% chance, however, the covered ones have a 15% chance. Any other vehicle that can’t be driven has a 15% chance (except the sedan).

3x Forged Iron
- 12x Iron (Crafted from Iron ore).
- 6x Clay Soil (Gathered while digging in most ground dirt anywhere in Navezgane).
2x Oil
- Oil can be obtained from Trash Piles, Harvesting Sedans, and a few other places. It is also found on nearly all types of zombies, so it’s very common.
15x Coal
- Coal can be obtained from mining Coal Ore or chopping down burnt trees and wooden debris in both the Burnt Forest and Wasteland biomes. It can also spawn at the side of the metal works building. It can also be looted from zombies and containers, but it’s rare. Ovens are the most common container.
Minibike Chassis
15x Forged Iron
- 12x Iron (Crafted from Iron ore).
- 6x Clay Soil (Gathered while digging in most ground dirt anywhere in Navezgane).

6x Mechanical Parts
- Mechanical Parts can be found by left-clicking with a Wrench on Air Conditioners, Gas Stations, Office Chairs, File Cabinets, Reinforced Drawbridges, Shopping Carts, Gas Pumps, Ovens, Sedans, Safes, and Metal Doors.
6x Duct Tape
- 1x Glue
- 1x Cloth
6x Leather
- Leather can be obtained by harvesting dead animals, such as Boars, Rabbits, Bears, Stags, Zombie Dogs, & Zombie Bears. You need either a Hunting Knife, Bone Knife, Machete, or an Axe / Fire Axe to harvest the animals.
1x Electrical Parts
- Electrical Parts can be found by left-clicking with a Wrench on Street Lights, Gas Stations, Sedans, Cash Registers, Air Conditioners, Stoves, & Refrigerators.

6x Mechanical Parts
- Mechanical Parts can be found by left-clicking with a Wrench on Air Conditioners, Gas Stations, Office Chairs, File Cabinets, Reinforced Drawbridges, Shopping Carts, Gas Pumps, Ovens, Sedans, Safes, and Metal Doors.
3x Spring
- Springs can be obtained from Working Stiffs Crates, Sedans, harvesting blocks and purchasing from a vendor.
1x Headlight
- Headlights can be obtained by destroying Sedans that have been burned out. You’ll need a wrench to do it. It can also be found in stores, and Garage Storage.
3x Electrical Parts
- Electrical Parts can be found by left-clicking with a Wrench on Street Lights, Gas Stations, Sedans, Cash Registers, Air Conditioners, Stoves, and Refrigerators.
9x Short Iron Pipe
- Requires either Forged Iron or the mats to craft it (12x Iron, 6x Clay Soil).
Engine
Engines can be obtained from Working Stiffs Crates and by using a Wrench on Sedans. Occasionally some are found on buses or trucks as well. Another source of them is Lumberjack zombies, but it’s quite rare.
Lead Car Battery
Lead Car Batteries are mostly found in decayed Sedans.
And that’s everything you need to build a Minibike in 7 Days to Die. It’s a lot of effort, but 100% worth it in the end!
