👩🍳 How To Make Gordon Ramsay Paella
- Over medium heat, drizzle olive oil into the skillet. Cook the onion until it’s transparent, then add the bell peppers and garlic.
- Mix in the tomato, bay leaf, paprika, saffron, salt, and pepper. Cook for 5 minutes while stirring. Add the white wine and let it cook for 10 minutes. Put salt on it if it tastes bland.
- Throw in some chicken, 2 tablespoons of chopped parsley, and rice. Cook for 1 minute.
- Slowly pour the broth around the pan and jiggle it to distribute it evenly over the rice. (Do not combine further!).
- Start a boil with the mixture. Lower the temperature to medium-low. Once or twice throughout cooking, give the pan a light shake back and forth.
- After 15-18 minutes (uncovered), add the shrimp, mussels, and calamari, sprinkle with peas, and simmer for 5 more minutes without stirring.
- Keep an eye on it until the liquid has been absorbed and the rice on top is almost done cooking.
- Take the pan off the burner and cover it with a lid or aluminum foil. Cover with a dish towel and set aside for 10 minutes.
- Put lemon slices and fresh parsley on top. Serve.
