From Good Housekeeping
Update, December 30, 2020, 10:46 a.m. ET: Good Housekeeping has learned that both seasons 19 and 20 of Hell’s Kitchen were filmed in Las Vegas prior to the coronavirus pandemic. Although Chef Gordon Ramsay and the competing contestants do visit the Hell’s Kitchen restaurant at Caesar’s Palace for part of the show, most of the filming was done at the new Caesars Entertainment Studios right off the strip, per Fox. Additional segments of the show were shot in various places around the city of Las Vegas.

While tuning into the new season of Hell’s Kitchen this winter (which begins on Fox January 7th), it’s hard not to salivate over all the beef wellingtons and lobster risottos flying out of the red and blue kitchens. In fact, it may just make you want to book a reservation at the Chef Gordon Ramsay-owned restaurant.

Before you do so though, here’s all that you need to know about where the show Hell’s Kitchen is filmed and how and where you can go to taste the iconic dishes from the Fox cooking competition show.
Where is Hell’s Kitchen filmed?
Believe it not, most of the episodes of Hell’s Kitchen dating back to the show’s premiere in 2005 weren’t actually filmed in a restaurant at all, according to Mashed. In fact, the show moved filming studio locations quite a few times. For seasons 1 and 2, filming took place at 915 N. Labrea Avenue in West Hollywood, California (pictured below):
Not exactly what you’d expect, huh? Then, according to RealityTVWorld.com, season 3 was taped at 3322 La Cienega Place in Los Angeles. Not long after, Gordon and the Hell’s Kitchen crew packed their bags yet again and relocated once more to 8660 Hayden Place in Culver City. While newer seasons have been filmed in Culver City, GoldDerby.com and the Las Vegas Review Journal reported in March 2019 that the show moved locations again. According to the publications, the show’s new filming home is Chef Ramsay’s very own Hell’s Kitchen restaurant at Caesars Palace on the Las Vegas strip, which opened in 2018.
Okay, so can I eat at the actual Hell’s Kitchen restaurant?
Yes! Despite being shut down temporarily last spring due to the coronavirus pandemic, the restaurant is now open for lunch, dinner, and to-go/delivery orders.
The eatery serves up all of the hearty classics you see on the show, including scallopini, filet mignon, and pan-seared scallops (see the full menu here, if you’re curious). What’s more, it’s designed to look just like the Hell’s Kitchen set, which means you can expect to see a red and blue kitchen, spacious dining area, a wall of Hell’s Kitchen winner portraits, and more.
