•What’s about?•

-Garden of Glass (GoG) is an Addon made by the Botania creator for Botania! This Addon adds and change recipes, all tweaked to have a SkyBlock theme survival to Botania!

•Making of the World•

-Always is better to prevent than having laments, here’s a little tutorial of how to make a GoG world. Be sure of having Garden Of glass(If you don’t have Botania and Baubles install will not work!)

-Click single player

-Go where you have naturally to make a world and click at “More World Options”.

Step 3:

-In “World Type” Click some times to find “Garden of Glass”, once you have it like that click at “Create New World”.

-In the Garden of Glass, nobody can hear you scream. You’re alone in the void… How exciting.

-The GoG island and sky are many times think as coming from the Sky Factory 3. Wrong! This type of world and sky comes from Garden of Glass itself! Here are examples of day and night on this world type:

-The island has a 3×3 area of Grass blocks (A) with a 3 length down of dirt (B). The brown-ish block are Living Roots (C) later in the blog I will talk about it. There’s only one block of water (D), and the only source of light is a Flame from the Mana lens of flash. This one as you might know if break it will not give you an item back. You can spawn with 16 different colors of flame for each GoG that you create. For example in this block this one is white!

•TIP•

-Normally you spawn with a Lexica Botania at your inventory, but IF you don’t have one. Take any sapling and right click it at a the island’s flare or any other mana lens flash production of flare! This only works if there is NOT! A Lexica Botania at the player inventory!

•Pebbles•

-Pebbles can be taken from any type of dirt (Including Grass block, Mycelium and Coarse dirt) by only using Shift-right click on the Dow’s will drop pebbles! With 4 of them you can make 1 of cobblestone!

-I used a hoe to demonstrate the action! You don’t have to use the hoes! Use the Shift-Right click on any type of dirt!

•Oak Sapling•

-Once you have a good amount of cobblestone you most go and break the Living Roots, but be careful it content is really important to the start!

-Break the Living Roots to have it content! Roots!

•Uses•

-The Root item is just like a fertilizer, aka another bone meal type of item!

-Using 4 Roots will make a tree

•Floral Fertilizers•

-The floral fertilizer as you maybe already know, is not like bone meal instead will only grown flowers from Botania in any dirt type of block!

1) A root

2) Bone meal, 2 Dandelion Yellow and 2 Red Poppy

3) Bone meal and 4 any Floral powder

•TIP•

-Now by using the option 3 having the GoG will give you 4 floral fertilizer by crafting not like option A and B that gives one!

•Water Bowl•

-To order to progress, you might need water to refill the Petal Apothecary, you most use regular Minecraft bowls and right click them to a body of water just like a water bottle!

How:

-Right click with a bowl at hand on a water surface

•TIP•

-Just like water bottle will not take the water block but some water.

-By using right click with it on a petal apothecary will fully refill it!

•Ores from thin air•

-The Orechid without GoG is endgame, but now is more cheaper! By only needing some petals and mana!

-2 red petals, 2 yellow petals, 2 gray petals and 2 green petals

•TIP•

-Not only the crafting is easier, the amount of mana needed to create ores from stone and the velocity is incredible faster!

•Animals in the void•

-Animals in the void, are really hard to have them now that you see it… you need a ton of dirt and you might not be ready to have the Rod of the lands and mana in the inventory. But here’s a recipe change to the Cocoon of caprice!

-7 string, a fel pumpkin, and a Manasteel ingot

•TIP•

-Over time the cocoon will move, the faster it moves the closes is to break and make a farming mob (cow, sheep, pig, and horses). But there’s time that a bunny and llamas spawns. If you give a emerald (by only right clicking on it) instead of making an animal will make a villager! This also happens with using chorus fruit on the cocoons, but will make a Shulker!

•Seedy place•

-Now by breaking a ton of grass and tall grass you don’t have only normal seed (wheat) but also will drop melon and pumpkin seeds!

•Mana spreader•

-Mana spreaders originally you maybe knew that they need gold in the recipe to be craft. With the GoG you don’t need it!

-7 Livingwood and any color petal

•Nether•

-The Nether isn’t gonna be like in the Skyblock map no no no! Is a normal nether but a different way to make obsidian. First you need Blaze Mesh, and then wait for to transform to obsidian with the pure daisy!

-9 blaze powder

•TIP•

-Remember that with a Manasteel Pickaxe you can harvest obsidian Level!

-For now use fire charge to light up the portal!

•Slime and Sugarcane first production•

-Slime and Sugarcane it is useful through the mod as same way to vanilla Minecraft!

-Throw a Hay bale to a mana pool!

•Prismarine Shards•

-If you thought that looking for Elder and Gardians was hard! You now are saved! Using now a Alchemy Catalyst under a mana pool will make this happen…

-Throw a Quartz to a mana pool that have a Alchemy Catalyst under!

-The end is you most have fight the Gaia guardian first. You now can make End portal frame!

-2 obsidian and a Gaia Spirit!

•TIP•

-Be careful were you place them, they still can’t be break by any tool!

•Side Note•

-GoG is for Botanist that are formally aware of what Botania can do…, is not recommend for newers. That’s why I made this whole mod series. If something new is added to the Botania Mod I promise to cover it up. Including the one is been making to the 1.13+ . Don’t worry there will be extra Botania blogs to make some fully blogs on special highlights, like Corpórea Nextwork and Mana transportation.
