Admission

Admission to Fairchild includes all of the collections and exhibits, a narrated tram tour (weather permitting), guided tours, and any public event taking place during your visit. Admission tickets are sold at any of the entrances. Accepted methods of payment include cash, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express and travelers checks.

Dining

The Glasshouse Café and The Lakeside Café

Open daily 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The Glasshouse Cafe is located adjacent to the Wings of the Tropics exhibit (link to WOT) allowing guests to enjoy their delicious meal surrounded by panoramic views of the beautiful butterflies. The Glasshouse Café’s popular menu includes organic and locally grown food including soups, paninis, quiches, hand-crafted sodas, smoothies and desserts. The Glasshouse Café is available for private rentals with seating for up to 250 people. View the full menu.

Convert Your Admission to Membership (Daytime Visits)

Promotions and Discounts

AAA DiscountFairchild offers our AAA visitors a discount of $2 off regular adult admission.

American Horticultural Society Reciprocal Admissions ProgramFairchild is proud to participate in the American Horticultural Society Reciprocal Admissions Program. (Please note that there is an exclusion in reciprocity with other botanic gardens within 90 miles of Fairchild. We encourage you to contact participating organizations to determine eligibility.)

Eco-DiscountIf you walk, ride your bike or take public transportation to Fairchild, receive $5 off the admission price for adults and $2 off the admission price for children. This promotion is good every day. It’s our way of thanking you for contributing to conservation. If you are a Fairchild Member and wish to ride your bike, walk or take public transportation, you will receive a Bike-N-Five loyalty card. After five visits, you will receive a gift admission valued at $25.

Military DiscounFairchild offers active military personnel and veterans free admission year-round. We also participate in the Blue Star Museums program, which offers free admission to families of active military personnel from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

Culture Shock MiamiWe participate in Culture Shock Miami,which offers discounted tickets to Fairchild for participating students between the ages 13-22.

The Golden Ticket ProgramOn the first Wednesday of each month, Miami-Dade County senior residents ages 62 and over with a Golden Ticket will receive one free admission to Fairchild. Please present your completed Golden Ticket form at the entrance

Group Visits

We welcome groups! Visiting with a group of friends or colleagues is a wonderful way to enjoy Fairchild. If you are bringing a group of 20 guests or more, please call 305.667.1651 x 3388 or email [email protected] in order to enjoy a special group rate. Group reservations are requested at least one week in advance.
