  5. Allow the filters to soak for 10 minutes or more.
  6. Time to scrub. After the filters have been left to soak, scrub them with a non-abrasive brush. For stubborn stains, you may need to add more dish soap directly to the brush.
  7. Once all the grease, grime and dust have been removed, thoroughly rinse the filters in hot water. Then dry with paper towels or a clean cloth.
  8. Put the filters back into the hood and admire your hard work. Repeat the deep cleaning process every 1-2 months.
