How to unlock the Condensed Resin Instructions in Genshin Impact

Players can obtain the Instructions for Condensed Resin by reaching level 3 of the Liyue reputation system.

Bear in mind that the reputation system is only available once you’ve reached Adventure Rank 25 and completed Mondstadt Prologue Act I and Liyue Chapter I Act II.

To level up your reputation in Liyue, you must do the various tasks given by the Ministry of Civil Affairs, marked by a flower-like triangle on your world map. These include requests, bounties, world exploration, and Liyue quests.

The fastest of these to do are the three weekly requests — worth 40 reputation — and the three weekly bounties — worth 100 reputation at the highest tier. Just from those two tasks alone, you can earn a total of 420 reputation in a week.

All three requests can be accepted in one transaction, and are treated as world quests in your quest directory. Once you complete a request, you automatically collect the reputation reward.

As for bounties, the reputation gain is a bit more complex. Bounties can only be done one at a time and have unique characteristics, where bosses become invulnerable to certain elements.

If you happen to overlook the details after accepting, you can just click on the “Bounty In Progress” tab on the top left of your world map.

After defeating your target, you must report the Bounty to Ms. Yu at the Ministry of Civil Affairs to collect your reward.

How to make Condensed Resin at the Alchemist’s Crafting Bench

Condensed Resin is quite simple to craft, and only requires a few ingredients.

You must first use the Instructions in your inventory’s Precious Items tab to unlock the specific crafting ability.

From there, you can head to any Alchemist’s Crafting Bench and craft Condensed Resin, located under the Gadgets tab.

If you’re short of Crystal Cores, you can farm Anemo Crystal Flies at the Statue of the Seven southeast of Mondstadt or the Dawn Winery.

How Condensed Resin works

Condensed Resin converts your Original Resin into a consumable item for future farming sessions. When used, it also doubles the rewards given in a single ley line blossom or material domain run.

If the item is present in your inventory, the reward window will give you the choice of using Original Resin or Condensed Resin.

Do note however, that Condensed Resin cannot be used on trounce domains like Raiden Shogun or world bosses like Oceanid.
