Video melt and pour conditioner bar recipe

If we want to ensure we are giving our hair the best care, we must consider both how we cleanse and condition it. Not all conditioners are created equal and we may need specific ingredients in order to give our hair the unique care it needs. A solid conditioner bar is a great way to focus on a small number of ingredients in a recipe that is simple to make and use. The solid bar also helps us to reduce waste and is great for traveling so we have one less liquid to worry about in our bag.

This recipe uses a nourishing and moisturizing blend of butter, oils, and wax that should be suitable for most hair types. Cocoa Butter and Shea Butter help to hydrate the hair while also improving softness and shine. Fractionated Coconut Oil absorbs into the hair, taking beneficial essential oils with it to help address breakage and split ends. Beeswax helps keep the bar solid and works to seal moisture and beneficial ingredients into the hair. The essential oils used in the recipe can be tailored to what our hair needs most.

Here are a few essential oil blends to choose from that can help us with some of the most common concerns we may want to address with a conditioner.
