I’m not sure about you, but I’m dreaming of the beach and carefree beachy hair. Being at home has made me so much more grateful for the things that I once took for granted like living within driving distance to amazing coastal waters!

The stress of the past year (and also as a side effect from medication I take for my autoimmune disease) has caused my hair to fall out more than normal and look a bit… needy. I asked a friend with amazing hair how she gets it so shiny and long, and she shared this secret- Mermaid Hair Spray!

I’ve had several other friends chime in that the essential oils in this blend really do aid in hair growth, especially Cedarwood. Since the scent of Cedarwood isn’t my fave, the other oils not only promote a healthy scalp and hair growth, but also make the scent smell delicious.

Along with the Mermaid Hair recipe, we’ve also whipped up free printable labels for you to use. It’s suggested you use waterproofor sticker paper so the image doesn’t smear if it gets wet.

I’ve made several bottles of Mermaid Hair and keep them in our bathroom, nightstand, and pool bag so we always have it when needed. Personally, I like to apply it at the scalp on wet hair after a shower and at night before bed if I know I’m going to wash my hair the next day. The key is consistent use.

With summer around the corner, it seems like it’s the perfect time to show you guys how to make this DIY mermaid hair spray to support long and luxurious hair!
