Chef Huda, multi-talented owner of Washington, D.C. area culinary company Pretty Delicious, has made Food Network history by winning $23,900, the largest personal prize earnings to date of a contestant, on Food Network’s hot and sizzling cooking show Cutthroat Kitchen hosted by Alton Brown.
The lowest anybody’s walked out of ‘Cutthroat Kitchen’ with is 300 dollars, he explained. Uh-oh. However, all hope isn’t lost. According to PR Web, there was a participant in 2014, Chef Huda, who managed to go home with a large lump sum: $23,900.

We were not paid to be on the show as a competitor, however, all travel and expenses were absorbed by the network. The winner, however, did receive a $10,000 reward
Food Network’s Cutthroat Kitchen, the quirkiest competition show, was officially cancelled in 2018. With over 200 episodes and 15 seasons, it came as a shock that it would be cancelled in the first place. Alton Brown, the show’s host, credits himself for ending the cooking competition.
Competitor interaction on Cutthroat isn’t scripted, but producers definitely try to nudge the chefs in a certain direction. There is not any ‘planned drama’ per se, but the producers highly encourage the competitors to bash each other, contestant Joe Arvin said.

It features four chefs competing in a three-round elimination cooking competition. The contestants face auctions in which they can purchase opportunities to sabotage one another. Each chef is given $25,000 at the start of the show; the person left standing keeps whatever money they have not spent in the auctions.
