You may have heard of the oh-so-popular Ninja Foodi Grill. You know, the one that also air-fries, roasts, bakes and more. Well, Ninja took that same great design and recently launched an outdoor version. Meet the Ninja Woodfire Outdoor Grill, an electric grill that gives food a wood-smoked flavor.

Ninja Woodfire Outdoor Grill, $329.60 (Orig. $369.60)

Launching just in time for the official NFL Kickoff on Sept. 8, the Ninja Woodfire Outdoor Grill is totally portable and perfect for tailgating. However, don’t let its size fool you. This thing is powerful. It uses 100% real wood-burning pellets to give food an authentic wood-fired flavor, but it’s electric-powered, so you don’t have to actually wait for the pellets to heat up. Plus, you can reach higher temperatures faster. The wood pellets are simply there to provide flavor.

In addition to grilling, it can air-fry, smoke, roast, bake, dehydrate and broil foods. You can grill burgers, crisp up chicken wings, smoke ribs and more, all with one machine.

I recently gave the Ninja Woodfire Outdoor Grill a try, and you can call me a fan. I used it to char deliciously tender yet slightly smoky steaks. You wouldn’t know they came from an electric grill and weren’t cooked over an open flame. I also used the air-fryer function to crisp up some fingerling potatoes. I especially like the concept of air-frying outside because often, when I do it inside, my entire home smells like whatever it is I’m cooking. The best part, however, is that you don’t even have to be an expert griller to use this grill. Its one-touch buttons make it easy to cook your favorite meal.

The Ninja Woodfire Outdoor Grill officially launched on Sept. 1, and you can get it on Ninja’s website for $369.60. However, for a limited time, you can actually get it on sale for $329.60 with the promo code GRILL40. The standard grill package comes with a crisper basket, samples of the Ninja Woodfire Pellets (good for up to six uses in total) and a recipe book, as well as two free gifts, including silicone mitts and roasting lifters. Of course, you can also upgrade and choose to get your grill with a built-in thermometer for a little more cash.

All things considered, it’s a solid grill, whether you take it to the tailgate, to go camping or simply out on the patio to cook burgers on a weeknight. If not for its wood-smoked flavor, its seven cooking functions make it a smart buy for people who like to cook a good meal in the great outdoors.
