Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre

This Denver list would only be complete by mentioning one of the most infamous outdoor theaters in the country, Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison. The jaw-dropping scenery, expansive city views, and front range make it a marvel in itself, even without your favorite band playing. Once the music starts, your ears will be charmed by the unrivaled natural acoustics of the famous monoliths of the amphitheatre, Ship Rock to the south and Creation Rock to the north. Some of the biggest names in music have played here, with many artists claiming Red Rocks as their favorite venue to perform. Attending a concert here is a once and a lifetime experience and draws folks from across the country, so don’t hesitate to take advantage of one of the world’s greatest venues right in our backyard.

Denver Botanic Gardens

The Denver Botanic Gardens, in the Cheesman Park neighborhood is arguably the most intimate and enchanting settings for summer concerts in Denver. They offer two types of musical events, their standard summer concert series and Evenings al Fresco. Evenings al Fresco is a less formal evening where you can stroll to hear music from talented local musicians and small ensembles. The Denver Botanic Gardens summer concert series features ten concerts throughout June, July, and August. With a rockstar lineup, shows reach capacity, so if you plan on attending, arrive early with your concert blanket and picnic basket to claim the best spot on the grassy hill overlooking the stage. While many outdoor venues allow outside food, Denver Botanic Gardens is one of the only ones to allow outside alcohol. Enjoy your bottle of wine as you take in a show among the blooms and greenery of the gardens. Fiddler’s Green Amphitheatre

6350 Greenwood Plaza Blvd, Englewood, CO 80111

Engineered for acoustic perfection and optimum viewer enjoyment, Fiddler’s Green in Englewood is a must-do venue for you to add to your list. With a seating capacity of 17,000 people, Denver’s largest outdoor concert venue hosts everything from country to pop and music festivals. Fiddler’s Green is also connected to Marjorie Park, which features artistic offerings worthy of an early arrival to stroll through the garden.

City Park

1700 N. York St, Denver, CO 80202

If you haven’t experienced City Park Jazz, you’re missing out. Enjoy ten straight weeks of jazz and blues artists for free, thanks to the incredible volunteer efforts that make this event series happen yearly. This event is so much more than the concert, tt’s also about community. Denver residents from all walks of life come together hours before showtime to play outdoor games, chow down at local food trucks, and enjoy Denver’s largest park to its fullest.

Levitt Pavilion Denver

1380 W Florida Ave, Denver, CO 80223

Levitt Pavilion Denver is a non-profit established with the purpose of building community through music. It is currently the only FREE cultural venue in Denver offering free admission to its incredible concert series. The outdoor music venue offers fantastic acoustics, relaxed and open lawn setting, and a family environment easily accessible by public transportation and bike paths.

Central Park

Corner of Roslyn St & 29th Ave, Denver, CO 80238

Enjoy music for some of Colorado’s most well-known local bands in Central Park at the MCA outdoor concerts and jazz series – MoJaBlu Concerts. The MoJaBlu Jazz Series will occur on select Thursdays beginning at 6:30 PM at the Conservatory Green at 49th & Valentina. The standard outdoor concerts will be held on select Saturdays at 6 PM on Founders Green towards 29th Ave. & Roslyn. Remember that the Central Park Beer Festival will take place on Saturday, July 15th, 2023, so that Saturday concert will require a ticket for admission.

Hudson Gardens – no concerts this year
