This Panna Cotta recipe Gordon Ramsay style is the absolute essential dessert for the holidays. Panna cotta is a traditional Italian dessert that is a super simple mixture of heavy cream and gelatin. Made just in 25 minutes and let the festive spirit lift you up.

Panna Cotta is one of the kinds of desserts that looks difficult and complicated to make but actually is one of the easiest desserts to make. It can be made just in 25 minutes without even turning on your oven. No baking is necessary which means you place it in the refrigerator and let it set until you get a creamy and jiggly texture.

This Panna Cotta Recipe Gordon Ramsay style has to sit in the fridge for at least one hour. But to get the best texture it’s recommended to leave it there overnight. I find the one hour a little too early, as the texture, it’s not firm enough.

When I first made this recipe, I left it for one hour in the fridge – as the recipe said -, but then it was still too liquidy. I made it for guests and going out from the time I needed a quick solution on how to get the right texture. So, I placed them in the fridge for approximately 45 minutes.

That helped. But then, I tried the recipe and left it overnight. I was checking on it after 3 hours, which already looked good… But after overnight was the perfect creamy and jiggly texture that we looking for.

What I recommend is to make it ahead for at least one day. Especially if it will be for Christmas or any other holiday dinner. Make it ahead to avoid an extra headaches and stress.
