Paula Deen Biscuit Recipe

If you’ve been thinking about Paula Deen’s homemade biscuits, there’s no better time than now to make some right at home! Here is the Paula Deen biscuit recipe:

Prep Time: 15 MinutesCook Time: 12 MinutesServings: About 3 Dozen (Note: People who’ve tested the recipe says it only makes about 8-10 biscuits)

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon of sugar
  • 1 tablespoon of baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 8 tablespoons of cubed butter
  • ¾ cup of milk

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 425 degrees F
  • In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt together.
  • Cut butter into mixture until it begins to look like cornmeal.
  • Make a well with flour mixture and slowly add milk into the middle.
  • Knead dough with your fingers and add milk when necessary.
  • Roll out dough onto lightly floured surface and roll out to desired thickness.
  • Cut with a small biscuit cutter.
  • Butter bottom of skillet and place biscuits in pan.
  • Bake for 12 minutes or until golden brown.
