At the start of Disney Dreamlight Valley, you can interact and become friends with just a few characters. Still, you’ll be able to unlock other Realms that have even more villagers eager to join you after completing a few quests and providing them a home in your Village.

Remy, a rat who adores food and its quality, will join you by opening a restaurant in your Village once you complete the An Important Night At The Restaurant quest.

How To Start An Important Night At The Restaurant Quest

Once you unlock the Dream Castle by removing the Night Thorns for 2000 Dreamlight, Merlin will give you the option of opening one of the three realms for free.

However, if this is the second Realm you wish to visit, you must spend 3000 Dreamlight shards to unlock it.

To enter Remy’s Realm, enter the Dream Castle and open the third door engraved with Remy on it by removing the Night Thorns using 3000 Dreamlight.

Once opened, interact with the portal to get teleported into Remy’s Kitchen and start An Important Night At The Restaurant quest.

How To Complete Remy’s Quest

Inside Ratatouille’s Realm, go and meet the little chef on the kitchen countertop.

Remy will ask you to help him in the Kitchen by washing the dirty dishes first since most of his staff is out sick.

As every cook at the beginning of the road, you’ll accept the given task and decide to wash the three trays with Dirty Dishes around the Kitchen.

To wash the Dirty Dishes, equip the Watering Can (second slot) and pour water over them to clean them.

Return to Remy to tell him the dishes are clean, and he will assign you another task to find a Fish in his Kitchen and prepare any meal using it.

Prepare Any Meal Using A Fish In An Important Night At The Restaurant Quest

You can find a Fish on the shelf behind Remy with five more ingredients: Banana, Eggplant, Lettuce, Tomato, and Zucchini.

Select the Rainbow Trout, select the amount (1), and press Collect to add it to your inventory.

NOTE: All the Ingredients in Remy’s Kitchen are available only in this Realm. If you try to return to the Village with them, they will disappear from your inventory.

The easiest dish to prepare using Fish is Grilled Fish. Go to the Cooking Station, drag the Rainbow Trout into the pot, and start cooking.

Return to Remy and show him what you made. He will compliment your cooking skills and assign you to cook any meal using a Fruit from his Kitchen.

Prepare Any Meal Using A Fruit In An Important Night At The Restaurant Quest

The quickest dish to prepare using a Fruit is Fruit Salad. Go back to the shelf, select the Banana (or any fruit), and press Collect to add it to your inventory.

Go to the Cooking Station, drop the Banana into the pot, and start Cooking.

Show Remy what Recipe you prepared using a Fruit. Once again, he will be impressed and decides to put you to make a little more complicated dish.

Hearty Salad And Bell Pepper Puffs Recipes In An Important Night At The Restaurant Quest

You will accept the task, and he will let you choose between two 3-Star Appetizers to prepare: Hearty Salad and Bell Pepper Puffs. Below you can find the Recipe for both of them:

To prepare the Bell Pepper Puffs, go to the shelf with all three ingredients: Bell Pepper, Cheese, and Egg.

Collect one of each required ingredient, go to the Cooking Station, drag them into the pot, and start cooking.

Once you have either of these two meals, bring it to Remy, and he will compliment it.

Pizza Margherita And Vegetable Casserole Recipes In An Important Night At The Restaurant Quest

For the next task, he will let you choose between Pizza Margherita and Vegetable Casserole, which will be served as the main course. Below you can find the Recipe for both of them:

• Pizza Margherita: Tomato, Wheat, Cheese, Any Spice
• Vegetable Casserole: Cheese, Any Vegetable, Any Vegetable, Any Spice

Either you choose, grab Remy’s Cookbook first off the countertop next to the coffee machine and the fridge.

To prepare Pizza Margherita, collect one Tomato, one piece of Wheat, one piece of Cheese, and Any Spice (Basil or Oregano) you want.

To prepare Vegetable Casserole, collect one piece of Cheese, two random Vegetables (they can be the same), and Any Spice (Basil or Oregano). I used Cheese, Lettuce (x2), and Basil to create this dish.

Go to the Cooking Station, drop each ingredient into the pot, and start cooking. Give either of these two meals to Remy.

Banana Pie And Apple Pie Recipes In An Important Night At The Restaurant Quest

For the following task, he will let you choose between Banana Pie and Apple Pie, which will be served as Dessert. Below you can find the Recipe for both of them:

• Banana Pie: Banana, Wheat, Butter
• Apple Pie: Apple, Wheat, Butter

The only difference between these two dishes is the main ingredient: Apple or Banana.

Collect the required ingredients from the shelves for the Dessert option you picked, drop them into the pot, and start cooking.

Ranch Salad Recipe In An Important Night At The Restaurant Quest

Return to Remy with the Dessert, and the dinner rush will start. Someone orders a Ranch Salad, and Remy will give you the task of completing the order. Below you can find the Recipe:

Gather all the required ingredients, go to the Cooking Station, drop them into the pot, and start cooking.

Ratatouille Recipe In An Important Night At The Restaurant Quest

He will tell you that the critic is ready for his main course, and he ordered the Ratatouille, his specialty, in the middle of three other orders.

Since he’s busy with the other orders, he asks you to help prepare the perfect Ratatouille. Below you can find the Recipe:

• Ratatouille: Tomato, Eggplant, Zucchini, Onion, Any Spice(Basil or Oregano).

Gather all the necessary ingredients following the Recipe above, go to the Cooking Station, drop them into the pot, and start cooking.

Once you cook the dish, place it on the Serving Hatch as before to be served to the food critic.

Talk to Remy to convince him to join the Village and run the Chez Remy Restaurant there. He will agree if the job offer comes with housing.

So, return to the Village, open the inventory menu, select the Furniture Tab, go to Remy and place Remy’s House somewhere in the Village.

You can remove trees, bushes, rocks, etc., if you need to make room for his huge house.

Now, go to the construction site, interact with Scrooge Mcduck’s sign and pay the 2000 Star Coins fee to build Remy’s House.

Once Remy arrives in the Village, talk to him to learn about his first impressions of the place, which completes An Important Night At The Restaurant quest and unlocks the next quest in line named A Restaurant Makeover.
