The first item on your list will be wheat, so you can focus on obtaining that first. There are two main ways of getting wheat in the game. The first and quickest way to get wheat to make the Yule Log in Disney Dreamlight Valley is going to be buying it from Goofy’s Stall. The second way that will take a bit of time to get your wheat will be growing it with wheat seeds.

There are benefits to both methods of obtaining wheat. If you want to make the Yule log instantly, you should just buy the wheat directly. It’s going to cost you Three Star coins per wheat, but you only need one. However, if you have a bit of time and patience, you can gain more benefits from growing your own wheat.

Growing wheat requires a few things, firstly, you will need wheat seeds. You can get the Seeds from Goofy’s stall as well, but you will be at quite an advantage as you get a pouch of seeds for just One Star Coin. Now the seeds can be planted, and you can harvest them when they are ready. You will get a bunch of extra wheat by growing it.

Wheat is a common item, and it will be used frequently in numerous recipes. You will need to complete Micky’s quest to learn about gardening and growing wheat. After that, you can do Goofy’s quest and make friends with him and help him open the stall. Upgrade Goofy’s stall with Scrooge’s Construction sign to unlock the seeds and buy them from Goofy.

Vanilla

One of the more advanced items in the Disney Dreamlight Valley Yule Log recipe will be Vanilla. You will have to have progressed a bit in the game to have access to Vanilla. However, if you are starting out, you just need to clear the Nature and Nurture Quest.

You need to head to Sunlit Plateau, which is accessible once you have cleared the Thores blocking your way. However, the throne removal is going to be cheap, and it will cost you 7000 dream light points. Although this is, a hefty price to pay, you will have to unlock Sunlit Plateau to progress in the game.

Now you can wander around the Plateau and look around for Vanilla plants. These plants will be growing on the ground and have a small white flow attached to thin steam. They grow on separate patches on elevated soil, so they are easier to stop, and you can pick them without any trouble. There are some usually growing around the water well area at Sunlit Plateau.

Once you pick them up, they show up as a bundle of brown twigs in the spice section of your inventory. You can only collect them and can’t plant them to grow more. So grab as many as you can before you leave. Vanilla is an exciting ingredient that is used in fun recipes like the extra fizzy root beer.

One of the easier-to-obtain ingredients for the Yule Log Recipe in Disney Dreamlight Valley is Cocoa Beans. You can find them in a number of places in the game while you are out getting other items, such as wheat or vanilla. Cocoa Beans are available for purchase at Goofy’s shop, so you can buy a few from there while you are getting your wheat, and you don’t have to make a second trip.

However, that’s not all Cocoa Beans that are even pickable at the Sunlit Plateau so that you can get good value out of those 7000 points. The Cocoa Beans grow on Cocoa Trees, so you can look around and spot them. You can pick them up every 30 minutes, so come back when you need more. You can even sell them to Goofy and make a quick buck.

Now unlike Vanilla, Cocoa Beans are growable, and you can even move Cocoa Trees, so they are closer to you. The tree will grow beans even if they are moved, and you won’t have to travel as far. You can also get the beans from Glade of Trust, but that’s a whole other area, and you will need to unlock it for 5000 points. They are used in recipes like Hot Cocoa so that they will go well with your Yule Log in Disney Dreamlight Valley during the Holiday season.

Sunlit Plateau is going to be essential in obtaining all the items in this recipe in many others, so 7000 points is a small price to pay.

You can find small trees or bushes with cherries growing on them. One way to identify them will be the short height and light green color. They will also have red cherries on them, which are quite large and visible from afar. You shouldn’t have much trouble finding these cherries, so don’t worry.

Cherries trees act much like the Cocoa Bean trees, and you can move them to a closer area, and they will still produce cherries for you. They do take a bit longer to grow once you have harvested them. The average time is around 33 minutes, but that’s quick enough. You only need one for the Yule log and can harvest 3 from a single tree, so you’re good to go.
