How We Tested the Outdoor Ceiling Fans
We installed and tested 11 ceiling fans, including four indoor/outdoor fans in our own homes across the country. While most fans have between three and five fan blades, larger units can have up to eight or ten. When a fan has more blades, it requires a larger support unit and more space to operate.
