You also don’t need an electric deep fryer to make it. A pan/pot, slotted spoon, or chip pan and basket are what you need.

It’s an easy, simple, and quick recipe that is ready in 20 minutes and you have a tasty meal ready to serve.
This fried chicken wings recipe makes use of only 5 ingredients. It’s seasoned with a few herbs and spices but you can use any other seasoning of your choice like this peri peri seasoning, cajun seasoning, or this chicken wings seasoning.
You don’t need to marinate them in the fridge before frying as they still end up flavor packed and delicious, however, if you have the time, marinate for about 1-3 hours before frying.
In terms of diet, these crispy fried chicken wings are low carb and suitable for the keto diet.
It has no breading, no flour, nor eggs, are used in making it which makes it lower calories than southern fried chicken wings.

To make fried chicken wings, first, pat the wings dry with a paper towel then transfer them into a bowl.
In a small bowl, mix the paprika, cumin, parsley, black pepper, garlic powder, and salt.
Add the spice mix to the chicken wings and mix till the wings are evenly coated in seasoning.
Put a deep pan/pot on the stovetop then pour in vegetable oil. Let the oil be at least 2 inches deep.
When the oil is heated to a temperature of about 350F, add in the chicken wings.
Let the wings fry for about 10-12 minutes or until they’re cooked through and the skin crispy.
You will know it’s cooked if when you cut one open the meat inside is tender with no pinkiness in the middle. You can also check with an instant thermometer to ensure the internal temperature is at least 165F/75C.
When they are fried, take them out of the oil onto a kitchen towel-lined plate.
Serve as it is or toss in sauces like bbq sauce, lemon pepper sauce, buffalo sauce, or any other.
Fried Frozen Chicken Wings
You can deep fry frozen chicken wings and get crispy, tasty, and well cooked chicken however it will take slightly longer time to cook than fresh ones. To fry unseasoned wings from frozen, rinse off any ice glazing the wings, then drain before seasoning and following the cooking steps as above.
If they are pre-seasoned, don’t deglaze before frying.
When cooked, there should be no blood around the bone and the internal temperature should be over 165F/75C.
