Happy Saturday guys! I hope you’re in the mood for some beautiful home inspiration because today I’ve rounded up the absolute best Fixer Upper kitchens. These are just my personal favorites, although I think it would be impossible to find a Joanna Gaines kitchen that I don’t love. Each one is so unique and gorgeous in its on way, I could easily spend hours looking at these photos and studying each little detail. If you’re a regular around here you probably know that we are embarking on a kitchen remodel, so I’m gathering all the inspiration I can find. I think it’s always really helpful to spend time studying design you love in order to know how you want to proceed with your own home or renovation. Not to mention it’s a lot of fun if you enjoy looking at beautiful homes like I do!

JoJo is definitely the queen of beautiful design and I think these kitchens prove it-each one is truly a masterpiece. It’s hard not to have major home envy while browsing these photos. But the thing I have to remind myself of when looking at these kitchens it that an entire team of renovation experts helped bring these amazing before and afters to life. Right now I’m feeling so irritated with that wall in our kitchen, the one that can’t come down for 339 reasons (check out this post if you’re wondering what I’m talking about) and the low 1980’s ceiling that haunts me in my dreams. And I’d be lying if I told you that looking at these gorgeous kitchens doesn’t make me a bit frustrated about what we’re working with and our limitations. And you might be feeling the same way about your own kitchen-after all, kitchens are the heart of the home. But here’s the thing that I’m realizing-few of us will ever have the budget or resources to have our dream home. It’s just not going to happen for most of us. And that’s OK, because at the end of the day life isn’t about how gorgeous our kitchen is or how impressive our livings room are-what matters is the memories we’re making with the people we love the most in these places we call home. Sure, you take time to make it your own. You invest money, energy, and care into creating your happy place and giving it the attention it deserves, but you do the best you can with what God has given you. Once you’ve done that, the rest doesn’t really matter.

So I hope today you can look at these gorgeous kitchens, maybe find a few ideas or looks that inspire you, but don’t for one minute let it get you frustrated about where you’re at with your own home. Instead go love the home you have, improve what you can as time and budgets allows, but most of all be grateful-no matter how low your kitchen ceiling is!
