Reflexology: A science that based on stimulating the working of certain organs by pressing on corresponding points on the body, reflexology can also help beat the symptoms of a hangover. By pressing the points on your body that stimulate your liver, kidneys, stomach, head and solar plexus you give your body that essential boost it needs to overcome the effect of alcohol.
Tip:
Liver point: Present at the centre point along the length of your foot. Pressing this point for about five minutes helps improve the function of your liver. It also helps it breakdown and eliminate alcohol from your system
Kidney point: This point is present just below the liver point and pressing it for about five minutes aids in the process of eliminating the toxins from your body.
Head/brain point: Pressing this point helps relieve a headache and therefore makes you feel better after a whole night of partying. Present on the top (fleshy part) of your little finger, pressing this point on both your feet helps relieve a headache.
Stomach point: The idea of stimulating this point is to help your stomach digest the alcohol and flush it out of your system. Also, since alcohol does tend to cause an upset stomach, pressing this point helps prevent that. Present on the outer arch of your right foot, make sure you press on this point for about five minutes.
Solar plexus: This point is meant to help you entire body and its systems realign and helps you feel better on the whole. Present on both your feet at the base of your big toe (feel for the bone also known as the ball of your foot) towards the inner edge of your foot, press this point for five minutes.
