Muang Thai Rachadalai Theatre
Located up on the 6th floor of The Esplanade shopping mall, on Ratchadapisek Road, the Muang Thai Rachadalai Theatre feeds on the youthful and diverse vibes of Bangkok’s Ratchada area. Here you’ll find a wide range of events and performances, from musical concerts and plays, to seminars and live TV shows.
One of the bigger “affordable” performance stages in Bangkok, this theatre is capable of seating an audience of over 1,500 people and offers lots of support and versatility. The venue itself has a very modern feel to it, with traditional Royal Thai mauve seats, and teak-style wooden walls.
MCAM
The MACM Hall (Music Auditorium, College of Music) is home to a large 353 seat performance hall at the Mahidol University. The hall is primarily used for student concerts and seminars, and is home to Thailand’s National Philharmonic Orchestra.
The performance space is open to public bookings and is well equipped for most types of events and exhibitions. As well as being one of the standout stages in Bangkok, you’ll also find an adjoining art gallery and pavilion stage, with the latter being a stunning glass construction with surrounding moat.
Royal Paragon Hall
The Royal Paragon Hall actually consists of 3 purpose built performance stages, and each one worthy to be on a short list of the best stages in Bangkok. The smallest of the 3 halls can seat 2,000 guests as a theater while the largest can seat 2,800.
Located at Bangkok’s Siam Paragon Mall, each of the performance halls are immaculate, with modern decor and sophisticated vibe. There is no shortage of event support and technology at hand, meaning the only limits to your performance event will be your imagination and budget.

Part of the epic King Power Complex, at the Pullman Hotel, the Aksra Theatre is a large 600 seated performance space, well-equipped for most budgets of stage production. Located within walking distance of Victory Monument and it’s BTS station, the Aksra Theatre is also home to the famous Hun Lakorn Lak puppet group.
One the more stylish and atmospheric stages in Bangkok, the design of this theater and performance space was inspired by 15th Century baroque style, and certainly sets a very sophisticated vibe. Such is the atmosphere and design that it is the perfect for performing classical and traditional arts.
The Playhouse Magical Cabaret Theatre
The Playhouse Magical Cabaret Theater At Suan Lum Night Bazaar, off Ratchadapisek Road is one of the newest stages in Bangkok. It was primarily built and designed to house the Playhouse Cabaret Show, which relocated here from the Aisa Hotel theatre.
The Suan Lum Night Bazaar complex is a somewhat new late night shopping and entertainment complex in Bangkok, and a reincarnation of the once popular Suan Lum Night Bazaar, previously located close to Lumpini Park. The theatre itself treads a thin line between the elegant and the extravagant, and it doesn’t have a fixed arranged seating, with its regular show using table and chairs to give that old school, cabaret vibe.
