- We recommend that you buy your ticket in advance online to avoid queues at the ticket office and benefit from special rates.
- During the summer period, the Musical Fountains show are scheduled every weekends, the Musical Gardens from Tuesday to Friday and the Fountains Night Show every Saturday nights, plus Friday July 14th and Tuesday August 15th.
- On days of Musical Fountains Shows or Musical Gardens, the entrance to the Gardens is free only for children under 6 years old.
- The Musical Fountains Shows and Musical Gardens are open-air walking tours.

Set out to explore the fountains and groves with their water features spouting to the rhythm of baroque music. Several circuits are available to enable you to enjoy the numerous masterpieces of the Gardens or lead you to their most secret spots.

The reduced rate (under 18, under 26 EU residents…) : €10
The reduced rate of the Passport with timed entry allows the beneficiaries of the free admission to enjoy priority access to the Palace, the Trianon Estate and to the Gardens on the days of the Musical Fountains Shows or the Musical Gardens.
Free admission is granted to children under 6 years old and to holders of the Château de Versailles Spectacles card, the 1 year in Versailles card holders and the members of the Friends of the Palace of Versailles.
Ticket valid for one entry into the Gardens, through the Honour Courtyard of the Palace or the gates of Little Venice, the Menagerie, Neptune or the Dragon. Please note that a second entry is possible, but only through a different gate than the one used for the first entry.

Water displays of the Musical Fountains Show
The fountains are flooded all day long :
- The Neptune Fountain:
- on weekends, Thursday May 18th, Tuesday August 15th : from 10am to 5pm then from 5.45pm to 6.45pm*, 5 minutes every 15 minutes
- on Tuesdays and some public holidays (Friday April 7th, Monday April 10th, Monday May 8th, Monday May 29th and Friday July 14th 2023) : from 10am to 6.45pm*, 5 minutes every 15 minutes
- The Mirror pool: from 10am to 7pm*, 7 minutes every 10 minutes
- The Water Theatre grove: continuously from 10am to 7pm*

the night fountains show
When night falls, the Gardens are transformed to offer a stunning visual and musical treat as fountains and groves come alive with colourful and dramatic lighting effects. This year once more, lighting and stage-effects artists will light up the gardens and display their surprising installations to the strollers: water features in the Mirror Fountain, lasers streaking across the dark in the Colonnade Grove and the fireworks display in front of the Grand Canal by the Groupe F to conclude the evening’s entertainment.

Every Saturday evening from June 10th to September 23th 2023, and on Friday July 14th , from 8.30pm to 11.05pm, and on two exceptional nights, Tuesday August 15th (Fire Night Show) and Saturday September 23th (Electro Night Fountains Show).

- Fire Night Show
The Nocturnes de feu (Fire Night show) honours the royal fires, so dear to the history of Versailles ! It is in a magical atmosphere that you will immerse yourself in this luminous evening punctuated by a sublime firework display by the Groupe F collective.

The royal Serenade
After the Musical Fountains Shows or before the Night Fountains Shows, the musicians and dancers of the company “L’Éventail” and the “Les Folies Françoises” await you to attend a French-style ball under the gold of the Hall of Mirrors.

Every Saturday from June 10th to September 16th, as well as Friday July 14th and Tuesday August 15th 2023.5 sessions (of 40 minutes each) are offered each evening at 6.30pm, 6.50pm, 7.10pm, 7.30pm and 8.00pm.

Opening times and acces to the Gardens
The Gardens are open every day and all year from 8.00am.They close at 6pm in low season (November 1st to March 31st).They close at 8.30pm in high season (April 1st to October 31st) with exceptional closing times to prepare the Night Fountains Shows and special other dates (27 May, 29 and 31 October 2023).
Access to the gardens via the South Garden (access via the Court of Honour of Palace of Versailles / Tickets on site), the Neptune Gate (access via the Queen’s Gate, Boulevard de la Reine / Tickets on site at weekends and public holidays only) or the Little Venice Gate (access via the Grand Parc / Tickets on site).
The Dragon Gate is open daily from April 1st to October 31st.
Available online, by phone at +33 1 30 83 78 89 or on site, at the entrance of the Gardens: from the Palace by the Princes’ Courtyard or from the Park by the Little Venice Gate. Ticket allows one entry through the Cour des Princes, or the Little Venice, the Menagerie and the Neptune gates, and a second one by another gate.
